Showtime Lady Michelle Obama started the year off with bangs. But recently, while giving a kickoff speech at Bowie State University in Maryland,the First Lady unveiled a side-swept, almost bang-less 'do

FLOTUS's bangs made their first appearance merely before the inauguration anniversary in January, and then they had a meager run of about iv months. Keep visiting the hair salon
If you're trying to grow out blunt bangs—a style made popular past celebs like Jessica Biel, Taylor Swift, and Sophia Bush—let them abound past your eyebrows, and then have your stylist function your pilus at the side and cut the bangs on an angle: from shorter at the part to longer at the side then that they alloy in at the edges. And Syfu says to be certain to ask your stylist to texturize the bangs: Blunt ones are really heavy and merely lay apartment, Syfu explains, so your stylist should cut vertically into the line of the bangs to remove some of that majority. "It's going to give you a lot more motility and softness equally you grow your bangs out," says Syfu. Try a messy side braid or twist

Go a grip with headbands
A no-sideslip headband that wraps effectually your head volition make a topknot or ponytail look way more polished, says Syfu. She likes Goody Ouchless hairwraps, $4.35 for six or $8.65 for two packs of 6, Soap.com. They keep your bangs in place—perfect for a run or for just hanging out with the girls. A fancier, jeweled headband or headwrap tin do double-duty—hide your bangs and accessorize a work or nighttime-out await.
